19-10-2009 Temati B.V. supplies LYSE Stavanger LNG Base Load Plant
LYSE LNG is a complete newly built export LNG terminal on the West coast of Norway. Since the beginning of 2009, UAB Hertel Services and Temati B.V. closely worked together to take this important project on board. Thanks to the close cooperation in previous insulation projects and the outstanding relationship between the two companies, we could manage to supply a large package of cold insulation materials & accessories.
8.4 km of cold pipe insulation and a few hundred valves require special attention. Together we have chosen for In-Situ Foaming of all the cold boxes. "The winter in Norway and the temperature sensitivity of polyurethane require extra precautionary measures" said Dries Van den Bergh. "Last week, I went over for an On-Site training and noticed that UAB Hertel Services had done a great job. Hertel provided the right conditions (heated containers, skilled people for the foaming job, etc.) for a perfect On-Site training." Temati will closely follow up this project and wishes UAB Hertel Services all the best in completing the insulation of LYSE LNG.
