Large cryogenic insulation projects are rare in the Dutch market and when they appear they entail extreme challenges.
When Kaefer was rewarded the project time pressure was already a huge issue and Temati needed to call upon all resources to meet client needs. Not only logistical flexibility but also technical support are essential to fulfil these deadlines.
A case study:
Besides traditional Foster products also pre-applied Tembutil on Kingspan-Tarec PIR was firstly introduced.To meet high safety levels on site it’s inevitable to reduce man hours as much as possible. But also to gain precious time it’s crucial to constantly explore how to make work on site more efficient. Together with Kaefer and Kingspan Tarec, Temati effected this concept which has already proven to be profitable for all parties.
Another example is introducing Kestopur cryogenic adhesive. To anticipate on an unforeseen workload Temati proposed Kestopur besides the specified Foster 82-77 as a cryogenic adhesive for adhering HD-PIR pipesupports to stainless steel pipes. Although the pressure sometimes caught up with people and many sweat was shed, we look back with satisfaction.
