Johan Sentjens and Mitch Shirley were given the opportunity to hold a lecture on CUI at the annual UK CUI-Forum meeting in Aberdeen. The CUI-Forum is an initiative supported by major UK petrochemical asset owners and end-users like: Exxon Mobil, Shell,  Total, BP, Conoco Philips and National Grid. The CUI-Forum aims to evaluate and assess methods and techniques used to determine and mitigate CUI. During the morning session Johan could share Temati’s experiences and discuss some of our CUI products and solutions. Key issue, which was recognized by all present members, is that CUI is not only a coating issue. Also summarized by Chairman John Thirkettle, the need to focus on insulation maintenance and increase each organisation was mentioned as a future challenge. The presentation was well received and complimented the essence of the CUI-forum meeting. We would like to thank the CUI-Forum and chairman John Thirkettle for this invitation.
