24-02-2010 Temtex™ fabrics work for Siemens
Special and high demanding applications require special products, that do the job. Siemens in Sweden was looking for fabrics, that could do that job for its insulation mattresses. Since Siemens was looking for more than the average fabric available on the market T. Knutsson AB in Malmö, Temati’s local distributor, was asked to come up with a solution.
After extensive testing Temati’s Temtex™ HT600 fabrics were selected, because of the excellent heat and vibration resistance. Also Temtex™ Silicone coated fabrics were tested and selected for superior quality and giving the highest protection against water, dirt and oil. This made Siemens decide to use the Temtex™ fabrics for the production of its insulation mattrasses. These matrasses are now put into service in Siemens’ gas- and steamturbines worldwide.
