Frank Scheerder
After 38 years of work, Frank Scheerder, CEO Temati Group, has decided to end his career at Temati. Frank started as a sales associate at Temati in Beverwijk, the Netherlands. In 1989 he took on the challenge of setting up the first foreign Temati branch in Germany. After a successful period in which Temati’s position in Germany was built up, he returned to the Netherlands in the early 2000s. After the retirement of the former director in 2003, Frank was appointed managing director of Temati’s head office in the Netherlands, by the management board of then owner Hertel.
A new phase of growth for Temati began, triggered by a renewed and expanded license agreement with H.B. Fuller for the manufacture and sale of Foster products. An international organisation, with its own offices in various countries and a European distribution network, was set up and the Temati Group took its current form. In 2013, the company separated from the old parent company and through an MBO Frank Scheerder, together with Arjan Jongkind and Stefan Naenen, became the owner of the Temati Group. Now by the end of 2021 Frank wants to spend his time differently with more space for his family. Frank’s responsibilities are taken over by Arjan and Stefan. Frank remains as one of the shareholders and Arjan will take on the position of CEO for Temati Group.
We thank Frank for all the work and effort at Temati and wish him and his family all health and good luck for the future.
