High-quality thermal insulation
Maintaining the right temperature is essential in many applications, from LNG terminals and cold stores to thermal oil pipelines and hot water systems. Our thermal insulation materials are carefully selected to minimise heat transfer and improve energy efficiency. With products ranging from 2-component PU foams and fibreglass insulation blankets to insulation mattresses, we offer solutions for various installations.
Protecting insulation
Temati stands for Technical Materials for Insulation Protection. In addition to insulation materials, we therefore supply a wide range of products that protect your insulation. Examples include various coatings, both vapour-tight and vapour-permeable, foils and tapes, and sealants for flexible seam sealing. We also supply a sophisticated range of products to prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI).
2k pu foam is a highly effective form of thermal insulation. PUR foam, with closed cells like Froth-Pak, has a very high insulation value and provides an excellent air seal. This 2-component polyurethane foam is used in various industrial applications: from the petrochemical industry to shipbuilding and utilities. At Temati, you can buy PU foam that cures slowly: Froth-Pak Slow Rise, or just very fast: Froth-Pak Quick Rise. Froth-Pak High-Density is used for applications where the foam must be able to withstand more pressure; for example, when filling valve boxes.
In addition, our insulation materials product category includes several universal Temket insulation mattresses. These insulation mattresses insulate warm surfaces, minimise heat loss and save energy. They also ensure a safe working environment and protect your equipment from mechanical damage. With the universal Temket insulation mattresses, you can easily insulate various types of fittings, pumps and pipe parts. For expansion joints, heat exchangers, outlets and other specialised or demanding applications, we produce customised insulation mattresses.
We also supply two types of insulation blankets, Thermat fibreglass insulation blanket and Superwool. Superwool is excellent for industrial applications with temperatures up to 1150°C. Thermat fibreglass insulation blanket can be used for temperatures up to 600°C. Application areas for these insulation blankets include marine turbines, industrial furnaces, generators, engines and other power generation equipment.
